The Carriage House (circa 1911) |
|
The historic Carriage House Reception Center is the perfect venue for an intimate wedding, reception or wedding luncheon. There is ample space to seat up to 65 people for dinner or business meetings as well. The Carriage House was built in 1911 by early Southern Utah developer, merchant and St. George mayor Thomas Judd. It originally served as a garage and repair shop for the many wagons and carriages that he used for his several businesses. The walls are of 18" thick exposed adobe brick and are complimented by high ceilings and rich carpeting. A fireplace, warming kitchen and restroom facilities have been added to modernize this unique, historic building. |
