The Grand Entry
The Green Gate Village Historic Inn is a rare collection of early pioneer and Victorian homes surrounding a "Village Green" of lawns, flowers, trees and walkways as well as a refreshing swimming pool. The formal entry to the Village faces south and fronts on Tabernacle Street--just opposite the historic Tabernacle and Woodward School. As arriving guests enter through our historic green gates they are meet by a sculptured lawn, brick walkways, sandstone planters and festive village lighting. The Village operates as a hotel with its own reception center, restaurant and other facilities for your special events. There is also a classic, olde-time general store on the property.
